Idiocracy News Media respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. We respond to notices of alleged copyright infringement that comply with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

Filing a takedown notice

If you believe content on this Site infringes your copyright, send a written notice to our designated agent (see below) that includes:

• A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent.
• Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
• Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, with enough detail (such as a URL) for us to locate it.
• Your contact information — name, address, telephone number, and email.
• A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
• A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on its behalf.

Counter-notice

If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notice with the same designated agent containing your contact information, identification of the removed material and its prior location, and a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake.

Designated agent

Send DMCA notices through our contact page with the subject line "DMCA Notice." We will respond to valid notices promptly and may remove or disable access to the material in question.

Repeat infringers

We may, in appropriate circumstances, terminate the accounts of users who are repeat infringers.
