Account
Delete your account
You can delete your Idiocracy News Media account at any time. It takes effect immediately and cannot be reversed.
Checking your session…
Deleted immediately
- Your account — email, username, display name and password
- Every like you've left, on articles, memes, videos and reels
- Every comment you've posted, and any replies attached to them
- Your active sign-in sessions on all devices
Kept, and why
- Articles you wrote, if you were a contributor — the byline stays, the account link is removed
- Records of any financial contribution, which we're required to keep for accounting and which Stripe holds independently
- Server logs, which age out on their normal schedule
Questions before you go? Get in touch — we'd rather fix a problem than lose a reader.
