Social media erupted with mockery aimed at Hillary Clinton following her attendance at a White House state dinner on Wednesday. The event, held to honor Japanese Prime Minister Kishida Fumio, saw both Bill and Hillary Clinton as guests. However, it was Hillary’s choice of attire—a long pink dress—that drew significant attention and ridicule online.
RNC Research on the platform X remarked, “Crooked Hillary Clinton arrives at the White House for the State Dinner — briefly pausing to admire a portrait of herself hanging on the wall.”
The reaction on social media was swift and harsh, with numerous users mocking her appearance through memes and critical comments. One user stated, “Hillary Clinton always has to wear a costume,” while another questioned, “Who dresses this woman, does she not have any friends to prevent these fashion disasters??? She looks like she’s wearing a table cloth.”
This social media frenzy comes shortly after Clinton stirred controversy with her blunt comments about the upcoming presidential election, telling disillusioned voters to “get over yourself.”
“Get over yourself. Those are the two choices. And, you know, it’s kind of like one is old and effective and compassionate, has a heart, and really cares about people, and one is old and has been charged with 91 felonies,” Clinton expressed, puzzled over why voters would find this a difficult decision.
