At a promotional event in Miami for his upcoming album “Vultures,” Kanye West, now legally known as “Ye,” wore a black hood reminiscent of KKK attire, captured in a live video of the event. This latest act follows a tumultuous period in West’s career, marked by his widely condemned antisemitic remarks, including statements admiring Adolf Hitler.

The listening party for “Vultures,” held at Wynwood Marketplace, charged $200 for general admission, with VIP tickets at $600 and tables for $10,000, as reported by Variety. The event, which also featured rapper Ty Dolla $ign, was streamed live on YouTube and experienced a delayed start.

During the event, West appeared in the black hood alongside a dark sleeveless top and slacks, making a dramatic gesture to the cameras with his daughter North West visible in the background.

The album “Vultures,” set for release this week, has been a subject of controversy due to its lyrics. As noted by Breitbart News, West includes lines that seem to dismiss the backlash from his previous antisemitic comments, with lyrics like “How I’m antisemitic? I just fucked a Jewish bitch,” and “I just fucked Scooter’s bitch,” referencing his former manager Scooter Braun.

West’s career faced significant setbacks last year following his antisemitic outbursts, leading to severed ties with major corporate partners such as Adidas, Foot Locker, Balenciaga, Vogue magazine, and CAA, a prominent Hollywood talent agency. He claimed to have lost $2 billion in a single day due to the fallout from these remarks.
