LUZERNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Two lucky lottery players were sold winning tickets in Luzerne County totaling an amount of $450,000.
Pennsylvania Lottery stated two jackpot-winning Cash 5 with Quick Cash tickets worth a combined total of $450,000 were sold from the weekend drawings.
On Friday, August 15, one Cash 5 with Quick Cash ticket matched all five balls drawn, 8-18-28-29-37, to win a jackpot prize of $300,000. Gerrity’s Supermarket on the Sans Souci Parkway in Hanover Township sold the winning ticket and will earn a $500 bonus.

Then on Saturday, August 16, one Cash 5 with Quick Cash ticket matched all five balls drawn, 2-15-28-37-43, to win a jackpot prize of $150,000. Beer O’ Clock on Scott Street in Wilkes-Barre sold the winning ticket and will earn a $500 bonus.
Winners are not known until prizes are claimed and tickets are validated. A main Cash 5 game prize must be claimed within one year of the drawing date.
Any prizes won on any Quick Cash game must be claimed within one year of the purchase date. Anyone holding a jackpot-winning Cash 5 with a Quick Cash ticket should contact the nearest Lottery office for further instructions or call 1-800-692-7481.
