Brazilian police searched the home and political headquarters of former President Jair Bolsonaro after the country’s Supreme Court issued warrants and restraining orders. As part of the orders, Bolsonaro is prohibited from contacting foreign officials.
Bolsonaro told reporters on Friday that he felt the court’s latest orders were meant for his “supreme humiliation,” according to Reuters,.

The former Brazilian president has been ordered to wear an ankle monitor. Additionally, he has been banned from using social media and approaching embassies, according to Reuters, which cited a decision issued by Supreme Court Justice Alexandre de Moraes. The justice also said there was a “concrete possibility” that Bolsonaro would try to flee.
Furthermore, the outlet reported that Bolsonaro is prohibited from contacting his son, Eduardo, who has been lobbying Washington to help his father.

Media outlets in Brazil reported that the former president has been forbidden from leaving home between 7:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.
