Illegal immigrants charged in brutal murder during California home invasion, robbery

Authorities recently revealed that one of three illegal immigrants accused of brutally killing a California man in his home had two detainers for criminal charges, but sanctuary jurisdictions ignored them, and he was never deported.

Three illegal immigrants from Georgia, Paata Kochyashvili, 38, Zaza Otarashvili, 46, and Besiki Khutsishvili, 52, were arrested by the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) and charged with murder in connection with a deadly home invasion and robbery.

Just before 1 a.m. on April 26, LAPD officers found Aleksandre Modebadze, 47, in his Woodland Hills home with a fatal head injury, according to FOX 11 Los Angeles.

He was pronounced dead at the scene by Los Angeles City Fire paramedics.

Homicide detectives alleged the three men entered the house, held Modebadze captive, and fatally beat him, according to the report.

Fox News learned all three men were in the U.S. illegally and Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) placed detainers on them.

Two of the men were previously caught and released at the border after crossing illegally — one on a $3,000 immigration bond, the other with a promise to check in with ICE, which he never did, according to Acting ICE Director Todd Lyons.

The third suspect overstayed a tourist visa and had two ICE detainers for burglary and drug charges, but sanctuary jurisdictions ignored them, and he was not deported.

“Shame on you,” Lyons said of the elected officials in sanctuary jurisdictions.
