Donald Trump Brings Back Bonkers Claim That Has Critics Screaming, ‘… What?’

Donald Trump’s so-called “MAGA Math” made an unwelcome return Thursday when he repeated one of his favorite claims that’s more fantasy than actual figures.

The president again boasted that he’ll force pharmaceutical companies to slash drug costs for Americans. But he said on Fox News that “we will be reducing drug costs over the next year by not 50% or 60% but by 1,000%.”

Huh?

Trump has previously tossed out even bigger numbers, at times insisting costs will drop by 1,400% or even 1,500%. But as critics on social media noted, yet again, it would mean people would actually get paid to take their meds:
