Linda Hogan was shocked and disheartened after finding out that her husband was left out of the yearly memorial. She says it is because Hogan supported political ideas that most in Hollywood do not.
“I can’t prove that. It’s just a guess, but they should have named him!!” she said, according to Entertainment Weekly.
Linda, who was Hogan’s first wife, married the wrestling star in 1993. The pair divorced in 2009. Hulk Hogan died of a myocardial infarction in July.
“WWF at the top of the hour when he came on to wrestle…[Hulk] had the highest ratings on NBC, beating all other competition for that time slot for years!” Linda added. “I really can’t tell you why they left him out…just a guess considering the way he was treated at his last appearance in LA.”
Linda paid tribute to her former husband on social media after he died.
“I’ve been weeping all day. The finality. It’s just shocking. We spent every minute together for so many years. I’ve known him since he was 28 years old! I was 22. I still love him. Even though I never spoke or saw him, Nick did, and Nick would tell me things, and vice versa—just news about life. I still felt.. although broken.. we still were a family. It’s so hard to know he’s just gone. I tried to stay strong for Nick, but I’m melting down now. It’s very sad. I love you, Hulkster. You were my man—the only man for me. RIP,” she wrote at the time.
Hulk, of course, was a prominent Trump supporter. He even appeared at the GOP National Convention in 2024 and spoke from the stage.
“You know, when I look out and I see all the real Americans, I think about how Donald Trump, how his family was compromised. When I look out there and I see Donald Trump, I think about how his business was compromised,” Hogan told the crowd.
“But what happened last week when they took a shot at my hero and they tried to kill the next president of the United States, enough was enough,” he said while tearing the t-shirt he wore off his body. However, the t-shirt he wore underneath read, “Trump, Vance – Make American Great Again! 2024.”

Hogan then told the crowd, “And I said let Trumpamania run wild, brother! Let Trumpmania rule again! Let Trumpamania make America great again!”
