Barron Trump’s Shocking College Move Sparks Buzz About His Bond With Melania & Donald

Sep 6, 2025 | Uncategorized

US President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump’s son Barron Trump made headlines years back for deciding to attend NYU, specifically for the Stern School of Business. But now, as his sophomore year kicks off, he’s nowhere to be seen; and insiders are explaining why. (And it may have something to do with his staying close to his mom, Melania.)

In case you missed it, NYU officials confirmed Barron has transferred to another one of NYU’s campus. One officer said to People: “From what I was told, he’s doing a semester at another NYU campus.”

They didn’t clarify the reason as to why Barron has decided to move away from the main campus, or which one he is now residing in. However, we do know that there are campuses and learning centers in Downtown Brooklyn, Abu Dhabi, Shanghai, Los Angeles, and Washington, D.C.

It’s speculated that it will only last for one semester. And for those wondering if it could be D.C., so he could be closer to his parents, the NYU D.C. program, which combines coursework with internships and professional opportunities tied to the government. (This would totally check out since Barron has helped his dad’s campaign in the past.)

If you need a rundown on Donald’s kids and their partners, we got you. Donald has five children in total. He and his first wife, the late Ivana Trump, welcomed three children named Donald Jr, born Dec 1977, Ivanka, born Oct 1981, and Eric, Jan 1984. Donald and his second wife, Marla Maples, welcomed a daughter named Tiffany in October 1993.

He then welcomed his fifth child, Barron, in March 2006, with his current wife, Melania.
