Home surveillance cameras captured the moment two men detailing a Woodland Hills homeowner’s vehicle were robbed at gunpoint by three suspects in broad daylight.
The incident, according to the homeowner who did not want to be identified, unfolded just before 11:30 a.m. on Labor Day.
“All the neighbors are home, walking around the neighborhood, outside in the yard, so not exactly the time you would expect something like this to happen,” he said.
In footage of the brazen robbery, a newer model light-gray Honda Accord can be seen passing the homeowner’s driveway where the two men were working. Moments later, the same vehicle is seen passing the driveway again in the opposite direction and out of the camera’s sight.
The trio then comes charging around the corner and up the driveway, two of them armed with handguns raised at the stunned workers, both of whom immediately raise their hands above their heads.

The thieves only managed to steal a watch and a pocketknife from the victims before running back to the car and fleeing.
The homeowner said the two men, worried that the thieves could return, ran to his front door and banged on it while yelling that there were men with guns outside. In response, he flipped on the house’s alarm system and called the police.

Having lived at the home for about six years, the homeowner said he hasn’t seen anything like that happen before in the area and that he feels terrible for the two workers, who he has hired on a weekly basis for quite some time.
“I really feel bad that in my driveway something like this happened to them,” he explained. “It was a bit traumatizing for all of us and actually made me realize that I don’t necessarily want to live in Woodland Hills anymore.”
Fortunately, no one was injured, and the rest of the workers’ valuables were stored away in their locked vehicle, parked on the street. The homeowner said he plans to replace the items the two men had stolen from them.
Police confirmed that they responded to the home, though the suspects had already fled and were last seen speeding away in the Honda Accord – with California license plate number 7S0J247 – northbound on Don Pio Drive.
It was only after the incident, when his neighbors came over to offer their surveillance footage, that he learned other homes in the area had also been targeted by thieves.
“I’m really hoping that these people will get caught and that it doesn’t happen to anyone again because in a situation like this, I don’t think these type of people value life,” the homeowner said. “These kids that they pulled the guns on, if they would’ve done the wrong move or freaked out, they could’ve gotten killed or shot.”
