Evacuation orders and road closures have lifted for most areas affected by the Atascadero fire except Corriente Road from Llano to Cebada roads and along Llano Road, according to a post on X by Cal Fire, as the progress of the fire has stopped, a previous X post said.
Update, 3:40 p.m.:
People were ordered to evacuate along Santa Ana Road from Coronado to the 1100 block and San Fernando Road from Alturas to Ardilla due to the Atascadero fire, according to a post on X by Cal Fire.
The Colony Park Community Center at 5599 Traffic Way is available for all evacuees, the post on X said.
Update, 3:05 p.m.:
So far 28 acres of land have been affected by the vegetation fire in Atascadero, according Cal Fire Captain Eva Grady.
There was one structure in “eminent threat” Grady said, while several others remain vulnerable.

The response to the vegetation fire in Atascadero continued to grow Saturday afternoon, though the size of the blaze is unclear.
Multiple structures were being threatened by the fire Saturday afternoon, according to a post on X by Cal Fire.
The agency said there was an additional spot fire ahead of the main fire, as well as “additional concern areas” near Corriente and Balboa roads.
Resources on scene included two air tankers, a helicopter and additional ground resources.
People were asked to avoid the area and yield to emergency traffic.

A vegetation fire threatened at least one structure in Atascadero on Saturday afternoon.
According to emergency response app PulsePoint, a vegetation fire was reported at 6705 Llano Road in Atascadero at 1:44 p.m.
The fire was reportedly between 1 and 2 acres as of 2 p.m., according to emergency scanner traffic. The fire was burning up a hillside and threatening at least one structure, according to the scanner.
There was a potential for the fire to grow to roughly 15 acres, according to scanner traffic.
Numerous resources had been assigned to battle the blaze as of early Saturday afternoon.
Wildfire cameras in the area showed a large plume of smoke as of 2:30 p.m.
